She Shed

Project year: 2020 | Location: Mill Valley, California

A 120 square foot garden shed, meticulously detailed to provide a welcomed respite from the insanity of a small main house filled with covid-lockdown family members.

About The Project

A black sheet metal fascia wraps up the back wall of the structure and along the roof edge, creating a ribbon of accent, capping the natural cedar boards which are unfinished, will age naturally and eventually match the fence.

The tiny shed, despite its size, manages to provide vital extra space for the house, housing a small music studio and home office.
